Day Two and very jetlagged!

Frankly, day two was exhausting. After arriving in Israel and starting a full day with minimal sleep, it’s safe to say that everyone was tired. After arriving at the Ben Gurion Airport at around 7 am on Monday, we proceeded to a variety of sites that, although seen through extremely tired eyes, started off our trip with a bang. Although we stopped for a picnic-type lunch a few minutes after our arrival, many of us agreed that the reality of being in Israel really started to set in when we stopped to take in the ancient cisterns and stunning seascape of Caesarea. After leaving the beach, we had lunch at a market, where we were served chicken and vegetable subs. The next stop was across the street where we had an interactive experience of the Golan Heights. We soon proceeded to actually experience the Golan Heights, catching the incredible view of the valley and Israel-Syrian border. An exhausted group traveled to the Moran Kibbutz and enjoyed the first fulfilling meal, along with a nice sleep, starting at 9:30.
